INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR IN AMSTERDAM!

From May the 12th to May the 14th 2024, our Italian non-profit Un ponte per Anne Frank, in collaboration with the Anne Frank Youth Network, has decided to fund an international seminar at the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam for 4 young people. Our group will experience three days of full immersion with international peers from different backgrounds and experiences, creating important moments of unity, reflection, and exchange of thoughts.
The aim is to encourage participation, reflection, conversation, listening, finding answers, and having new questions. Linking the past to the present. The international seminar will take place at the Anne Frank House/Museum and will also include tours of Amsterdam dedicated to the city, Anne Frank's history, and World War II. |
All participants will also have free entry to the Anne Frank House/Museum.
The international seminar, organized by our non - profit "Un ponte per Anne Frank" and the Anne Frank Youth Network, focuses on the value of Remembrance with a contemporary message, aiming to build a society of respect and inclusion.
Requirements:

Requirements:
- Age between 15 and 26 (if underage, the presence of a responsible adult is required)
- Good knowledge of the English language.
How to apply:
Carefully read the travel program and info about the participation fee and, if interested, send an email to [email protected] introducing yourself and stating your reasons for wanting to participate in the international seminar at the Anne Frank House/Museum in Amsterdam (submit your application by March 1, 2024, at the latest).
Confirmation of your participation will be sent to the selected participants by March 15, 2024.

TRAVEL PROGRAM:
DAY 1 (Sunday, May 12, 2024) Individual arrival in Amsterdam and accommodation in a hostel (city center). Meeting with the staff of the Italian non - profit Un ponte per Anne Frank.

9:15 – 9:20 Arrival of our group at the Anne Frank House/Museum in Amsterdam
9:25 – 9:55: Introduction by a staff member of the Anne Frank House/Museum
10:00 – 11:00: Visit to the Anne Frank House/Museum
11:00 – 11:40: Sharing and reflection time, led by a staff member of the Anne Frank House/Museum in Amsterdam
11:45 – 12:45: Lunch break
13:00 – 13:55: Introduction to the work of the Anne Frank Youth Network
13:35 – 13:45: Break
13:45 – 14:45: 'Anne Frank' Workshop
14:45 – 15:00: Break
15:00 – 15:45: 'Contemporary Issues' Workshop
15:45 – 16:00: Conclusion + opportunities to stay involved in these educational programs
Late afternoon/evening: City tour of Amsterdam + dinner
DAY 3 (Tuesday, May 14, 2024)
10:00 – 10:05: Our group arrives at the designated location for the Memory Walk
10:05 – 10:15: Introduction to the Memory Walk
10:15 – 12:30: Memory Walk around Amsterdam (visits and reflections on various locations related to World War II)
12:30 - 13:00: Reflection, certificate distribution
Afternoon/evening: Independent return back home.

The Italian non profit Un ponte per Anne Frank covers the following expenses for each participant:
- Accommodation in a hostel (shared room with other participants – private bathroom)
- Entrance and visit to the Anne Frank House/Museum, the hiding place where Anne Frank, her family, and two other Jewish families stayed for about two years.
- Participation in all workshops, reflection moments, and exchanges
- English-speaking guides/experts
- Memory Walk in the city of Amsterdam/World War II
- Certificate for each participant
- Meals
What is not included in the fee:
- Transportation to/from the place where you live - Amsterdam
- Internal transportation (if needed)
- Insurance
- Personal expenses
- Any expenses not mentioned in those covered by our non - profit Un ponte per Anne Frank
